Brigitte, your new release notes a 2006 Pentagon Briefing entitled “Motivations of Muslim Suicide Bombers” which concluded that the scriptures of the Koran relating to jihad and martyrdom were the key driving motivations of the purist suicide bomber. To your knowledge, are there currently any Muslim Clerics (in the West or in the Middle East) who are leading “Moderate” Muslim movements or issuing fatawa that disavow the cult of the jihadi suicide bomber as a perversion of the Koran’s teachings?
Brigitte Gabriel:
There has not been an Imam that I know of as a respected and highly visible religious figure who has come out and condemned the cult of the Jihadi suicide bomber as a perversion of the Koran’s teachings because religiously it is not. The jihadists are devout Muslims following in the foot steps of the Prophet Mohamed whom Islam consider “Al Insan Al Kamil” the Perfect Man. However, there are movements by moderate Muslims here in North America as well as in Europe who are trying to reach out in their communities to the moderate youth to give them a reformed version of Islam , an Islam that calls for equality of people and for harmony between cultures and citizens. One group in Europe is doing it through music appealing to the youth through upbeat music that is becoming very popular and very successful. However these movements are very small and not funded by any wealthy Muslims to really make a difference. All the money from the oil wealth is going to fund radical Imams as well as terrorist organizations.
Johnson:
In 2001, a Muslim Brotherhood one-hundred year plan for the infiltration and domination of the West and ultimately the world, known in counterterrorism circles as The Project, was discovered by Swiss Authorities. In what ways does the Project harness deception to guarantee the triumph of Shariah Law over the US Constitution?
Gabriel:
There are many methods in which The Project has insidiously wormed its way into America’s heartland and methodically set into motion a “civilization Jihad”. The Project’s goal is to gain control of our government through infiltration of our schools, house of worship, financial institutions, penal system, armed forces, government jobs, including FBI, CIA, HS and high up elected posts, propaganda material via the Internet, Muslim charitable organizations, college professors, US text books and the like.
There are two very important endeavors that are mentioned in the Muslim Brotherhood’s Ikhwan Plan for North America, al-Taqiyya and Dawa. Al-Taqiyya is the sanctioned art of lying or being deceitful to further the dominance of Islam in the world and to preserve its tenants. Dawa is a form of gradual conversion that invites non-Muslims to accept the truth of Islam. The practice of Dawa is frequently practiced through public schools in America and the Western communities. Non-Muslim parents are invited to meetings in the home of Muslim parents or teachers to learn about Islam as a docile religion. Conversion is the ultimate goal on the part of the Muslim initiating Dawa. The practice of al Taqiyya and Dawa is shaped in The Project’s initiatives by using already established Western institutions until they can be converted to the tenants of Islam. Networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations devoted to Islam, will serve as catalysts to eventually implement Sharia Law throughout America and the world. United States madrassas were established for this very purpose.
There is an alarmingly increasing amount of Islamic programs incorporated into the US school system that is paid for by uninformed American citizens. These programs not only teach Islam as a religion, but Islamic rituals and customs are hands on for the students with an emphasis on “the true religion”. Other world religions are barely mentioned. How many public schools in America do you know that teach a three week course in Christianity, Judaism or Hinduism? In addition, history text books written and distributed in the US are riddled with false information pertaining to the Middle East. Islamic educators, who have taught Sharia law in US Saudi madrassas and provide biased misinformation, are paid by the US publishing companies to edit these text books. In fact, the valedictorian of a US Saudi madrassa in Northern Virginia who received an education based on Sharia Law, is serving a prison sentence for his involvement in a assassination plot to murder President Bush. Even Islamic youth camps are not exempt from teaching hatred and intolerance. Islamic youth camps throughout America are holding seminars for young Muslims on topics such as, “How to Get to Paradise”. For Islamic youth in the US, the idea of becoming a martyr and dying for Allah (by way of suicide bombings) is being transplanted in their souls.
Radical Muslims have permeated our prisons and persuading inmates to convert to Islam’s violent tenants. Terrorist group are using the Internet in the US to recruit Muslims and non-Muslims for Jihad in this country. Universities are given millions of dollars by the Saudis for their Middle Eastern Studies programs to control what is being taught. Infiltration in the US government is another part of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Ikhwan plan for North America. Radical Muslims have been offered jobs as Arabic translators and other jobs where they can do harm to our country.
Right now in America there is a financial jihad called Sharia Compliant Finance. This term refers to Banking institutions owned by individuals whose banking methods are administered by their allegiance to Sharia Law. There are dangerous risks associated with SCF. Companies that do business with SCF banks are asked to “purify” their investment profits in the form of a donation to a Muslim charity. The donation is then laundered and forwarded to al-Qaeda to pay the family of suicide bombers.
Muslim charitable organizations in the United States are parading as legitimate benevolent groups whose goal is to help America Muslims and promote the integrity of Islam. In reality, these groups are fronts for al-Qaeda, Hamas and other Islamic terror groups who are working cooperatively to carry out the Muslim Brotherhood’s objectives for America.
Johnson:
In “Madrassas in America and Abroad” you note the retired Pakistani police official and current Harvard fellow Hassan Abbas’ estimate that 10 to 15 percent of Pakistan’s madrassas support the Taliban, terrorism, and religious extremism. According to available intelligence, how many madrassas currently operate in Pakistan? And how many students does the average madrassa instruct?
Gabriel:
There are around 20,000 madrassas in Pakistan as of 2008. Each madrassa may house a different number of children depending on its curriculum. It has been estimated that there is 1.7 million children registered in the Pakistan madrassas.
The Madrassas’ teachings have shifted from the harmonious and righteous pillars of Islam, to the intolerant idealism of hatred and jihad. Students learn that the only way to please Allah is to spread Islam throughout the world through Jihad. It’s the “believers” against the “non-believers” and war is the only way to achieve a perfect world.
Johnson:
In “Reviving the Caliphate”, you state that you have lost your “once Christian-majority country of Lebanon to an Islamic takeover.” What demographic shifts have occurred in Lebanon since its last census? Has Hezbollah positioned itself as a legitimate resistance movement to hijack democracy in Lebanon?
Gabriel:
The Christian population in Lebanon right now is estimated to be less than 20%. Those Christians who have not fled Lebanon yet to another country are only there because they are stuck and unable to get visas to other nations. It is a very devastating reality in the country especially to those who have seen it go from Paris of the Middle East to the Terrorist hub of the Middle East where Hezbollah is not only spinning terrorist operations in five continents but also training terrorists from around the world including Al-Qaida in the Beqaa valley in Lebanon.
Hezbollah now is the controller of the government and the intimidator of people. I cannot even talk with my friends freely on the phone because Christians know that their phones are bugged and monitored. The conversation has to stay on weather, food, children and nothing else.
What contributed to this phenomenon is the death of a lot of Christians during the war and the fleeing of a large number of them like me. Any Christian who could get out of Lebanon has gotten out already. The other contributing factor to Hezbollah’s growth in their birth rate. Muslims have a lot of children and have multiple wives. Shiites also have the 24 hour marriage called the “Mutah” (Pleasure) marriage. Where a man can have sex with another woman for twenty four hours and it is done “within a marriage.” The result is tens of thousands of children born in a short period of time giving Hezbollah the voting power to demographically vote themselves into the government.
Johnson:
In “Islam’s Contempt for Women and Minorities”, Sheikh Saleh Al Fawzan, a member of the Senior Council of Clerics, Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body, says “Slavery is a part of Islam”. What role does Shariah Law play in the propagation of the modern institution of slavery?
Gabriel:
Modern slavery is alive and well. Black slavery by Muslims has been around for thirteen centuries. Islamic racism is so entrenched in Muslim society that the Arabic word for black is abed (slave) or abeeds (slaves). There is no other respectable word in the Arabic language that describes a black person as equal or even human. Blacks are also referred to as filth. As a child, I remember when we used to play and get dirty, the saying was: “You look filthy like an abed”. In contrast, Mohammed described the Muslim people as “the nobles of all races” and reassured them that they were immune from slavery.
Mohammed himself owned dozens of slaves. His followers throughout the centuries have kept slaves and continue to do so today. The Koran defines the fundamental inequality between the slave and owner as well as the rights an owner has over his slave. Not surprisingly, the Hadith also justifies slavery and gives instruction in several chapters concerning ownership. The Koran specifically asserts the right of Muslims to own slaves, either by purchasing them or acquiring them through the bounty of war. Since Muslims believe the Koran to be the word of Allah and is unchangeable, slavery will always exist in Islam. This mentality allows Muslim governments and followers of the Koran to declare jihad on neighboring villages of non-Muslims and force them into the bonds of slavery. Although most of the men captured are killed, the women are used as sex slaves or laborers. This criminal behavior is alive and well and flourishing in many Allah-fearing nations today.
Today, the African nations of Sudan and Mauritania preserve brutal, racist, and corrupt Muslim governments that rightfully have been accused of the most heinous crimes against its non-Muslim citizens. Even in America, slavery exists.
Daniel Pipes, director of Middle East Forum, a think tank that promotes American interests in the Middle East, reports that slavery is flourishing in the United States, among the Saudis. Homaidan Ali Al-Turki, thirty-six, an immigrant from Saudi Arabia and a graduate student at the University of Colorado, and his wife were accused of enslaving an Indonesian woman who cared for their four children. She was forced to cook, clean, and serve as nanny, among other tasks, with no pay. The woman said that she feared that she would suffer at the hands of her captors if she were disobedient. Pipes names four Saudi royals who also live in the United States and have been accused of and/or charged with holding their housekeepers against their will and threatening them with “serious harm” if they were not compliant. There have also been an abundant number of reported cases of Saudi royals and dignitaries living in the United States who have held their servants hostage. These Very Important People must think they’re at home. Even though slavery was abolished in 1962 in Saudi Arabia, it is still practiced there today. Not only is the government aware that it still exists, but religious and influential clerics sanction it. Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, an opponent to Saudi antislavery laws and member of the Senior Council of Clerics, Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body, says, “Slavery is a part of Islam and whoever wants it abolished is an infidel.”
Slavery among Muslims who practice Sharia Law is worldwide and yet, its immoral conduct has been blanketed under a shroud of silence. Martin Luther king Jr. summed it up best when he said, “the greatest sin of our time is not the few who have destroyed, but the vast majority who have sat by and done nothing.”
Johnson:
What key legislative and governmental actions is Act! for America calling for in its grassroots movement to fight against the tide of Islamofascism and the political correctness that enables its advance?
Gabriel:
There are many legislative and governmental action proposals on the table now that are being discussed with different members of congress and evaluated. The three most important ones are actions regarding the hate education in Mosques throughout America. We are calling upon Congress to conduct hearings to examine materials that have been uncovered that have been sold or distributed in mosques in the unites states, to determine if these materials violate federal statutes governing tax-exempt organizations; to determine if these materials violate federal anti-terrorism statutes; and to determine if these materials violate federal statutes prohibiting sedition, the advocacy and/or effort of abolishing or overthrowing our constitutional from of government. We have a petition on www.actforamerica.org website that details what is being taught in the mosques and urging people to sign it and help us put pressure on congress to move forward with such hearing.
The second one is investigations and due diligence into Islamic Sharia Banking that is now becoming the latest hot new item offered on Wall Street. Even the treasury department is learning how to get into this lucrative Islamic banking market without really kicking the tires and understanding what is involved in these transactions and what Sharia banking and Sharia law stand for. The third legislative proposal deals with a bill to protect our first responders and police officers from lawsuits by the Islamic lobby screaming discrimination trying to prevent them from doing their job of protecting us when they investigate or stop a Muslim person acting suspiciously. We must protect those who protect us and ensure that they can do their job without fear of being subjected to law suits and loss of their job and their livelihood for doing what they are suppose to do to protect our nation and its citizens from those who wish us harm.
