The Iranian Lens on the Gaza War – Week One

Posted by huntingnasrallah on January 30, 2009

The Iran Feed – Gaza War, week 1

Understanding the Gaza War from the Iranian perspective is important in terms of the long war.

For some reason, though, the entire January 2nd Iran Daily is missing.  The following is 6 days of Iranian News from iran Daily regarding the Gaza War.  How do these reports compare to Western News agencies on the subject?

Day 1 – Gaza War – December 27, 2008 – p.9

Full Force Against Gaza

The Israeli occupation army

continued its preparations Thursday for military action in the Gaza Strip. Reportedly, a “limited operation“ will begin within days that will combine an air attack with some ground operations against Hamas and other Gaza resistance groups.
The Israeli cabinet has given the go-ahead for an operation of a few days’ duration with clearly defined goals, Al-Manar reported.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will hold a series of meetings Sunday with Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni (called the kitchen cabinet) to discuss the option of a potential Gaza operation.
The meetings Olmert is expected to hold on Sunday will relate to three issues. The first is preparation of the home front, Olmert wants to know what reinforcement of buildings can be completed before military action is taken, and to urgently complete whatever can be completed in terms of reinforcement.
The second issue involves humanitarian aid shipments to Gaza which Israel is to approve during the week. Olmert wants reports on stockpiles of essential items to ensure that a humanitarian crisis does not break out in the Strip during military action.
The third issue involves diplomatic moves to garner international support for military action against Hamas.
A government official in Tel Aviv said there would be no moves before all necessary preparations are in place.

Thought for the day – 1/28/09

Posted by huntingnasrallah on January 28, 2009

War is either a total or a useless thing.

Reason, then, cautions: Only war when useful.

This holds true for a war of ideas; but, more importantly, it holds for a war of perception.

It seems that the fundamental trap that Islamic Supremacism presents for the Western Man is the presentiment of the notion that his very Reason is an idol God that must be obliterated in obeisance of the Will of Allah, whose Messenger was Muhammad.

An advocate of Free-Speech is in a state of partial war with Islamic Supremacism.

An Activist fighting for Reason is in a state of total intellectual war with Islamic Supremacism.

SCF Journal Entry – 1/28/09 – A Shout Out to California

SCF Journal Entry – 1/28/09 – A Shout out to California

Hello Sayyid Abu A’la Maudoodi…strange to find you in an American based firm…

In the introduction to Nonie Darwish’s new book Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law, she notes one of the founders of Modern Islamic Fundamentalism (or Islamic Supremacism), Sayyid Abu A’la Maudoodi, as saying,

“…the objective of Islamic Jihad is to eliminate the rule of an un-Islamic system and establish in its stead an Islamic system of state rule.  Islam does not intend to confine its revolution to a single state or a few countries; the aim of Islam is to bring about universal revolution.”

Considering this interesting line from the founder of Pakistan’s Jihadist Islamist organization Jama’at al Islamiya…one might wonder why a California firm is peddling its home mortgages in accordance with Maudoodi’s religious approval for its methodology.

I present you with the unique case of Ameen Housing Co-op.  Enough to make Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez shed a tear and modeled on a Toronto co-op, this Shariah Compliant Finance structure allows for the establishment of a monopolizing, government backed entity.

Consider the following website pdf file of the infamous Shariah Board Advisor Taqi Usmani.  Ameen Housing Co-operation, itself, is in Santa Clara, California.

http://www.ameenhousing.com/docs/TaqiUsmaniSec.pdf

This website will not allow the document to be copied to a Word Pad or my Microsoft Word program.  If anyone out there can copy this document to a word document program, it will be surprising.

Jeffrey Imm: “We Are All Geert Wilders Now”

Defying Islamic Supremacism – We Are All Geert Wilders Now

A great man once warned that we “cannot sit idly by” and “not be concerned about what happens” in other places as injustice happens, equality is crushed, and liberties are threatened. He told us that: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

That great man dared to defy an ideology of identity-based supremacism, an ideology based on denying equality to all men and women, an ideology based on the lie that some are inherently superior to others simply based on their race, religion, creed, or national origin. That great man challenged a supremacist ideology whose “ugly record of brutality is widely known,” and he did not fear to name it or protest against its oppression of others. As a result, he was threatened and charged by some with actions that would “incite to hatred and violence.” Those against him felt that a line had to be drawn to stop his protestations and stop his message of defiance against supremacism. That man was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a man in America, who is still celebrated today and honored today as a courageous leader in defending equality and liberty.

The Evident Islamic Supremacy in Iraq’s Constitution

Posted by huntingnasrallah on January 26, 2009

I have changed two words in the translated copy of the Iraqi Constitution crops below.  I have replaced the word God with Allah…when seen in this light, the document takes on a sinister tone…and I have made those changes [in brackets].  Shariah Law is now the law of the populist quasi-democracy of Iraq.  Note that the Preamble begins with the same introduction that precedes all but one or two suras of the Koran.  Note that Allah’s Rights over the people of Iraq is supreme.  Note that Article 2 states that Shariah Law is the law of the land.  Supremacy is evident in the maintenance of “religious rights” rather than human or individual rights.  Iraq’s constitution holds to the Arab League’s Covenant.  This covenant holds Israel’s existence as evidence of Zionist Aggression and holds to the Right of Return of the Palestinian Peoples.

-Gary H. Johnson, Jr. (1/26/09, 6:27pm EST)

THE PREAMBLE

In the name of [Allah], the most merciful, the most compassionate

We have honored the sons of Adam

We are the people of the land between two rivers, the homeland of the apostles and prophets, abode of the virtuous imams, pioneers of civilization, crafters of writing and cradle of numeration. Upon our land the first law made by man was passed, the most ancient just pact for homelands policy was inscribed, and upon our soil, companions of the Prophet and saints prayed, philosophers and scientists theorized and writers and poets excelled.

Acknowledging [Allah's] right over us, and in fulfillment of the call of our homeland and citizens, and in response to the call of our religious and national leaderships and the determination of our great (religious) authorities and of our leaders and reformers, and in the midst of an international support from our friends and those who love us, marched for the first time in our history toward the ballot boxes by the millions…
